HOSTEL’S RULES:

MIND THE CHECK-IN HOURS: from 14:00 to 23:00!

( We remind you that if you want to check-in directly at the apartments, you can do so by letting us know beforehand, or you can check in directly at Taormina Hostel, and then transfer yourself to the apartments.)
Check-out: until 10 am! Rooms must be vacated by that time!
24 hours after Check-out: We can keep your luggage in our storage for FREE!
(Even After checkout, if you’d like to continue enjoying our facilities, such as the kitchen or showers then worry Not!!!!
We’re more than happy to assist you. Just a small fee of €5.00 ensures your continued comfort.)
After the payment: We do NOT refund in according to our cancellation policy (read carefully!)
DORMS: Free until 48 hours before check-in time (14:00). In case of late cancellation or no show, you will be charged the first night and 50% of the total amount due.
PRIVATE ROOMS: Free until 72 hours before check-in time (14:00). In case of late cancellation or no show, you will be charged the first night and 50% of the total amount due.
CHECK-IN: On arrival, guests must provide an identity document (identity card, driving license, or passport) and pay the amount of the whole stay. For payment through the service of paper POS, a small additional commission of partial reimbursement expense, equal to 2.5%, is foreseen.

Directions: How do you get to the hostel?

BY AIRPLANE:

From Catania Fontanarossa Airport: catch the big blue “EtnaTrasporti” bus. When you exit the airport, turn on the right side and you will see the “Interbus” sign (www.interbus.it). 64 km later, you will arrive at Taormina Bus Station.

FROM TAORMINA-GIARDINI TRAIN STATION: Just go out of the station and turn right. You will see the sign “interbus”. For more information, visit www.interbus.it.

You need to catch a big blue bus from “Etna Trasporti” or “Interbus” company or a small local orange minibus to Taormina center. You will arrive at Taormina Bus Station.

FROM TAORMINA BUS STATION: Go left (there is a bar in the corner) in the direction of the center via Pirandello for around 500 meters. When you reach the arch of Porta Messina (on the left), continue to the hill via Costantino Patricio and walk up until the end of the hill. Then turn left and walk straight on via Circonvallazione in the direction of “NH Hotel collection Taormina” (next door to our hostel), we are up the staircase some meters ahead (before the “Q8 petrol station”). You will note a small orange mark on our door: we are in Via Circonvallazione n° 13.

IF YOU’RE COMING BY CAR: Motorway A18 exit “Taormina Centro”. Continue towards one of the two parking lots just outside the city gates.

You can choose among 3:

“Lumbi”: If you park here, you may reach the city center by a free orange shuttle that will leave you next to the Porta Messina arch.
“Porta Pasquale” (the closest to the Hostel and apartment [about 8 walking minutes])
“Porta Catania”.

Then go up the hill on the right (via Costantino Patricio), and continue on the left on Via Circonvallazione for about 2 minutes. We are after the big “NH Hotel collection Taormina”. We have a small orange mark downstairs. If you park at “Porta Catania”, you will be close to the post office square and Porta Catania arch.

We are between the gasoline station “Q8” and “NH Hotel collection Taormina”.

Things you can find near the hostel, located in the city center:

1 minute walking from the Corso Umberto (the main street where you can do shopping and where there are restaurants, bars, pubs, discos etc.).
3 minutes walking from “The Greek Theater” (the most important monument in Taormina, that hosts several summer events).
3 minutes walking from the cable-way that connects beaches and the hinterland.
5 minutes walking from the bus Terminal, where you can catch buses going to other parts of the region: Alcantara, Mt. Etna, Catania, Syracuse, etc.
